Vanavasa: A Spiritual Practice for Menopause

The session contemplates the third phase in a woman’s life, within the context of all four phases, according to Samkhya Philosophy. How and why meditation is a supportive practice during Menopause and why the Menopause is the beginning of an exciting inner journey to peace and self-knowledge.

Drawing on Yoga, Buddhism and Ayurveda, Moon Yoga events offer an insight into the different phases of a woman’s life – how by gaining an understanding of these phases we can enjoy the gifts of womanhood and bring greater harmony. Over the last 10 years, Lucinda has led workshops, given talks and run weekly classes for women. She has studied and practiced yoga and meditation for over 20 years and is a Senior YAP Registered Yoga Teacher.
