My name is Angie and I am a dance movement psychotherapist. I run ‘Movement for Wellbeing’ sessions, which are a platform for expression and healing through movement. The focus is upon nurturing the balance between body, mind and spirit, by bringing awareness to our bodies.

Sessions are partially guided, but there is no choreographed dance, so nothing to get ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, just a chance to move freely, however is needed as an individual or a group in that moment. Sometimes there is a theme, music or props, but each session is different.

I draw upon my experience of various movement and dance practices, as well as meditation and my intuition, to bring a variety of tools to the sessions. Participants are encouraged to release their inhibitions, tune into the deep wisdom of their bodies and surrender to intuitive guidance.

Sacred Yoni

Sacred Yoni: Connecting with and honouring your yoni through non-sexual self massage

About this Event

Book your FREE tickets online at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sacred-yoni-part-of-the-benow-festival-tickets-143092941841

This workshop will guide you through the practice of non-sexual vaginal massage – a nurturing process that can help to release some of the tension we are prone to carrying in our vaginas and to come into a deeper relationship with this part of our body.Women will go away with a fuller understanding of their sexual and reproductive anatomy and an understanding of how they can bring this practice regularly into their lives.

Session will be online but with cameras turned off – Please make sure to have a private space where you can be unclothed and undisturbed. Some coconut oil or preferred lube

For far too long we have forgotten to honour the place where life comes from…sadly in our culture, over the millennia, a layer of shame has settled over the female sexual and reproductive anatomy, aka the “yoni”. This has brought about disconnection which is the root cause of the discomfort we experience around our pelvic bowl, including our menstrual cycle and our sexual experiences.

Learning to connect physically with our vulva and vagina and physically/ energetically with our womb or wombspace helps us to fully embody our sovereignty as women, to connect with our feminine power and to understand ourselves more fully.
